I am deeply honored and humbled that you chose me as your representative for Georgia house district 58. I will endeavor to represent you with honesty, integrity, and due diligence, working hard for you. We have many challenges facing us in the coming months and years. Chief amongst those are ensuring affordable healthcare, a quality education, sustainable lifestyles for all citizens, and preservation of our fundamental rights. I am pleased that I have been appointed to the Health and Human Services, Industrial Relations, and State Planning and Community Affairs committees.

I remain committed to all I have promised 

My top priorities are improving our PUBLIC EDUCATION SYSTEM by making sure it is fully funded for our children, INCREASING HEALTHCARE coverage for needy Georgians, PROMOTING ECONOMIC and SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT that brings jobs and protects our environment, REDUCING CRIME by expanding crime prevention programs, and REVERSING the effects of DEREGULATION of our natural gas industry to bring our natural gas bills back under control.  I believe the work I’ve done in the community as well as my professional background and experience uniquely qualify me to represent you in the General Assembly.  I am committed to being a public servant, not a politician.  As the only African-American candidate in the race, I believe I represent the rich diversity of our district.
